Boxing each jar

Our method for packing Wantage Honey jars.
- Put the jar in a sealable bag – take most of the air out before sealing it.
- A box for each jar – place jar in box.
- Fill the corners with scrolled-up corrugated paper.
- Then tape up box.

Sending muliple jars of honey by post
We box each jar of honey separately, although most orders requiring posting are typically six jars. And we use of parcel tape to join multiple boxes together.
By the way, the T’s written on them boxes stand for ‘top’ – best to keep the honey jars upright.

Once all the boxes to taped together, and labels and writing applied – we take a trip the the Post Office. At the moment, we use Royal Mail as they seem to be the most reliable.
We have successfully sent countless jars of honey by post over the last four years, and hope this peek into to our postage methods reassures you.
